Installation Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Surface
Clean the wall thoroughly using a strong degreaser like TSP (Tri-Sodium Phosphate). A smooth, dry surface is essential for proper adhesion.
Tip: If the wall is freshly painted, wait at least three weeks before applying the tiles.

Step 2: Plan and Cut
Use a pencil and ruler to outline the layout on the wall. For precise cuts, use a box cutter and a metal ruler with a cork backing.

Step 3: Peel and Stick
Peel back a portion of the protective backing (avoid touching the adhesive to prevent contamination with dust or oils). Align the tile with your guide, press lightly to position it, then remove the rest of the backing and press firmly into place using a plastic smoother. Focus on the grout lines and concave areas for the best adhesion.
Tip: Full bonding typically completes within 48 hours. After 24 hours, press the grout lines again with a plastic smoother for optimal adhesion.

Step 4: Finish and Enjoy
Repeat the process to complete your wall for a flawless, seamless finish!

These tiles adhere best to smooth and clean surfaces such as:

• Unpainted plywood

Note:
If the surface is not ideal or you’re unsure about adhesion, we recommend using 3M Purpose 45 Spray Adhesive to achieve the best possible bond.
