Nose : Fresh n fruity! Candy shop sweetness with juicy apricots and tangy oranges

Palate : A creamy / buttery, barley quality initially and then comes citrus fruits and allspice

Finish : Cinnamon lingers with dried fruits and buttermilk pancakes with syrup (CSL)

About Aberlour

The Aberlour distillery was founded in 1879 by James Fleming, though distillation occurred at the site earlier. A devastating fire in 1898 destroyed much of the distillery and its whisky, but it was promptly rebuilt with modern equipment by Charles Doig. It was sold to S. Campbell & Sons Ltd in 1945 and later became part of the Pernod Ricard group in 1974, which helped establish its strong market presence in France
