The brooch has a feather motif with a 1 2 inch piece of turquoise and rope like border. It is very well made and has a RV stamped hallmark on the back. The stone is secure and the pin C closure is in excellent working order. It has been lightly cleaned but there is some nice oxidation. Vintage Roy Vandever Sterling Silver and turquoise brooch. The brooch has a feather motif with a 1/2 inch piece of turquoise and rope like border. It is very well made and has a RV stamped hallmark on the back. The stone is secure and the pin ‘C’ closure is in excellent working order. It has been lightly cleaned but there is some nice oxidation. Please zoom in on all photos for more details ( the turquoise is just slightly darker IRL than what it looks like on MY screen. The color is more accurate in photos 2 and 3).
