The Leuze HT5B/4 Diffuse Sensor is engineered for reliable object detection, even in challenging conditions where backgrounds can interfere. Featuring background suppression and a focused beam path, this sensor ensures precise part identification within a range of 0.002 to 0.4 meters.

Its advanced design minimizes false triggers by offering a low black-white error rate of under 15% up to 200mm, while the fixed focal distance of 200mm and round light spot geometry enable consistent detection performance across various materials and colors. The PNP output with light switching, easily switchable to dark switching by reversing polarity, enhances system versatility.

Built into a compact, durable PC-ABS plastic housing and protected with an IP67 rating, the HT5B/4 performs reliably even in dusty and moist environments. The integrated LED display and multiturn potentiometer allow for easy range adjustment and status indication.
