Lapidary cut, multi-layered Motor Agate (Fordite) cabochons set in cast sterling silver cufflinks. The salvaged and re-purposed material featured in this pair began as a hunk of cured auto paint overspray that was harvested from a major auto plant many years ago.
Featured here are a great pair of beautiful, flat topped and matched Type 1 Motor Agate fordite cabochons - color on color, in opaques and metallics, with primer layers.
The silver settings have been given our signature mini-hammered detailing, and are hand signed on the reverse. These cufflinks feature fixed V-bar backs.
