Product Description

11-inch hand-carved gomira mask of goddess Kaali, re-imagined as a contemporary wall decor piece. 

Rustic gomira masks were traditionally made by villagers in areas like Jalpaiguri, Dinajpur and others in West Bengal for use in ritualistic dances, performed to appease village deities and the forces of nature.

Today, only around 200 artisans and their families still make these masks. We aim to work with them to present more of their traditional designs as part of our wall decor range.

Being hand carved, this product is unique in itself, and its tiny imperfections are what make it special.

Comes with a hook at the back to hang on walls.
